Nike Air Griffey Max 1 ‘Freshwater’

The 2021 reissue of the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 ‘Freshwater’ brings back the OG colorway of Ken Griffey Jr.’s debut signature shoe in celebration of its 25th anniversary. An adjustable ankle strap — embellished with raised Nike branding and Junior’s 24 jersey number with the Seattle Mariners — secures an upper built with white synthetic leather and black nubuck. Teal accents land on the sneaker’s webbing pull tabs and visible Max Air units, which enhance the heel and forefoot of the bulky polyurethane midsole.
