Founded in 2020, Bephies Beauty Supply stands as a women’s-focused streetwear label that aims to build a community in support of women of color and LGBTQ+ creatives.
BBS’ push has served to highlight an emerging view of beauty and fashion through an inclusive lens.
Blending femininity and fierceness, Jordan and Bephies Beauty Supply have come together to create a collection made for the bold — for those who are not afraid to be unapologetically themselves no matter the situation.
"Color is everything to me. so when designing this collection I wanted to tap into my favorite colors and also my Caribbean roots. The mesh is a theme through. From the back of the jacket to side panels of the pants and dress. I also incorporate it into the shoes." - Bephie
We've seen the Air Jordan 7 sport faux rabbit hair and even receive the Patta treatment. But, we've never seen anything like Beth Birkett Gibbs' Air Jordan 7s, which looks as if the classic Jordan model and Nike's ACG Air Mowabb had a baby.
Under her brand Bephies Beauty Supply, Gibbs issues arguably one of the most creative spins on the Air Jordan 7 I've seen yet, infusing the OG basketball shoe with hiking sensibility.
Much like a beauty supply store, BBS has a way of bringing women of color together celebrating the beauty of individuality while preserving the preciousness of the overarching Black experience.
Wish had the opportunity to host a very special early-access shopping experience for the Bephies Beauty Supply x Jordan Collection and we wanted to give the women in our creative community an opportunity to shop the collection and, honoring BBS’ ethos, highlight the emerging view of beauty and fashion.
