Paying tribute to the 1989 OG, the New Balance 550 features traditional design details reflective of the era - simple, minimalistic, and faithful to its roots. Boasting a suede upper and mesh underlays, the shoe also has an "N" logo at its sides, "550" at its lateral toe, a padded tongue with NB branding, a conventional lacing system, a padded ankle collar, and "NB" branding at the heel. Lastly, the shoe sits atop a robust rubber sole unit.
