CELEBRATING WHM: MEET SARAH PIERRE
This year for Women's History Month, we want to shine a light on Women of all styles that are currently making history within the creative community in Atlanta.
Today, we're giving the spotlight to Sarah Pierre, Owner of 3 Parks Wine Shop in Atlanta, established in 2013. Opening its second location along the Eastside beltline this summer with more outdoor seating and daily wine flights, Sarah grew up being passionate about food and the culinary world surrounding it.
Get to know Sarah
I'm passionate about empowering other women and helping them achieve their dreams. As a woman in the wine industry, I understand the unique challenges that women face when trying to break into this field. That's why I make it a priority to hire as many women as possible, especially those who may not otherwise be able to get into the wine industry.
Prior to opening 3 Parks Wine, Sarah spent most of her career working and managing notable restaurants in Atlanta and New York City including, but not limited to Twist Restaurant & Lounge, Houston’s Restaurant, Maialino, & Bacchanalia. Her passion for hospitality and her love for food and wine led to the success of 3 Parks Wine Shop. She opened the store with hopes of creating a comfortable, welcoming, and quaint space to purchase wine.
My goal is to create an environment where everyone can thrive and reach their full potential. I also focus on growth, both for myself and for those around me. Through mentorship opportunities, networking events, and educational resources, I strive to help other women reach their goals in the wine industry.
Sarah also takes every opportunity to give back to the community whether it is a momentary donation to a school/organization, sponsoring events and neighborhood associations, clothing drives, fundraisers, and group wine tastings.
I empower Women by providing support and resources that are tailored specifically for female entrepreneurs in this field, I hope to create an atmosphere of success for all of us.Sarah knows that her success is because of the community, and has a personal obligation to give back. It's important to her.
