Be Unstoppable in The Air Jordan 1 High "Heirloom"
Referencing heirloom quality pieces that get better with time as they pass from generation to generation, the Air Jordan I High “Heirloom” is inspired by the value a lifespan has, generation to generation.
Atlanta-based Artist Big Gipp is a founding member of legendary Hip-Hop group "Goodie Mob" which emerged from the South in the late-1990s. Alongside members CeeLo Green, Khujo, and T-Mo, this Dungeon Family-affiliated collective played a large role in the "Dirty South" movement.
To be an heir is to personify inheriting and continuing the legacy of a predecessor, such as Keypsiia Gipp, daughter of the acclaimed Atlantan Artist and Singer/Songwriter Joi, has done as she follows in their footsteps being a multifaceted Artist herself.
For this Air Jordan 1 High "Heirloom" campaign, we wanted to pay homage to how this lineage keeps the legacy alive by passing down the gift of artistry, thru each generation.
