Mishka NYC unveils their lookbook for the upcoming Fall 2009 season. A favorite brand of many of us, it seems like Mishka gets better and better every season. And one of the best parts of the New York brand is their aim for outstanding branding and photography. This Fall 2009 collection was done by photographer Marley Kate and the lookbook definitely displays her vintage/polaroid influence.
The focus this season is more on the cut & sew pieces and large pea coats for the colder weather. You’ll notice the “outdoor” influence across the entire collection such as the flannels, the neutral colorways, as well as the cut & sew blazers. The best way to think of this collection would be “if a bunch of Brooklyn denizens went camping in Oregon.”
