One of Nike's staple footwear silhouettes gets a remake this spring/summer as the sportswear brand debuts the new Nike Classic Cortez Nylon QS "Hawaiian" pack. This quickstrike debut arrives in a trio of iconic Cortez shoes that see a supple suede toe cap, heel cap and lace vamp. The understated suede hits are positioned against nylon side panels that are emblazoned with a bold and bright floral design. Set atop a pure white outsole with a midsole chromatic hit, the Nike Classic Cortez Nylon QS will be available at Wish starting on Saturday, May 18, 2013. Retail is set at $85 USD.

The releases for this Saturday, May 18th keep piling up over here at Wish. This specific release comes in the form of the Nike Air Max 1 EM "Rio". This runner is dressed in a vibrant Turquoise hue, traced with Electric Green. Constructed from a mix of mesh and leather, the shoe features accents of Orange throughout the upper, which sits atop a speckled Sand midsole. This shoe will be retailing for $110 USD this Saturday.

2013 has already seen a range of releases from the Nike Barkley Posite Max camp. The latest installment arrives via the form of the Court Purple/Team Orange edition that is aptly touted as the "Phoenix Suns" version. Paying obvious homage to Sir Charles' tenure playing for the Phoenix Suns, this particular execution was designed under the direction of celebrated Nike Design Director, Marc Dolce. Situated atop an ice blue outsole, the predominantely Court Purple upper sees a juxtaposition of minimal nubuck paneling alongside a croc-like print that is reminiscent of Barkley's "Godzilla" Commercial. Rounded out with a speckled midsole, Team Orange accents and multi-colored laces, the upcoming Barkley Posite Max will release through Wish on May 18. Retail is set at $235 USD.

To celebrate Easter, Nike Sportswear has put together a collection of the Lunar Force 1 Low that combines white Hyperfuse uppers with colorful outsoles. The colorful icy-soled sneakers will be releasing on Saturday, March 30th at Wish. Including six different makeups, these shoes are numbered 1/100, meaning there will be only 100 total pairs hidden amongst the stock of various Nike Sportswear accounts this Saturday. For those who were at Wish this Saturday, it was obvious that the Lebron X Cork release caused a lot of commotion in the sneaker community. On top of the huge release and the line wrapped around the store, we had the creator of the madness present in store to sign boxes, shoes, and even in-soles. Take a look at some quotes from Jonathan Johnson-Griffin and the images we captured on Saturday below:

Why Cork?

JJG: "We were talking to Lebron and he was saying that he kind of wanted to give it that champagne bang feeling. And it's based all around the idea of popping bottles... When you hear that champagne bang of the cork popping, you know you won a championship."

This "champagne bang" aspect of the design is evident in Jonathan's "Popping Bottles!" signature.

Can you take us through higlights of the design/production process?

JJG: "For me the higlights [of the production process] are sketching and working with the athletes to dive into his life and extract different details that are really rich that we can tell different stories around."
