Lil B x The Hundreds T-Shirt Collection

April 28, 2011 11:54 by thealex

Los Angeles based The Hundreds teams up with artist Lil B for a round of t-shirts in honor of the Based God.  We thought it much more fitting to let Bobby Hundreds himself explain it to you... check out what they had to say about their latest Lil B x The Hundreds colab:

"We back Lil B because he’s a true artist, broken away from the pack, the black sheep, making music on his own terms by his own rules and finally offering rap something unique.  Lil B understands the next generation of music listeners, he’s got ‘em by a headlock through Tumblr and Twitter, he preaches soulful positivity, his beats are unparalleled.  His art can be both lowbrow and conscious, ridiculous and grave.  You’re either with him or against him, but while you’re figuring it out, he’s already moved onto the next one.  When was the last time you heard of somebody cookin’ up this kind of controversy?  Oh yeah, that’s right: Us.  Fitting, isn’t it?" - The Hundreds

The entire collection can now be picked up for a limited time from Wish or purchased on our online shop

Piece by Piece: Frank's Picks

April 21, 2011 11:38 by Alex Maeland

Our lead buyer and close friend, Frank Cooke sat down and picked out give of his top pieces (right now, atleast).  Most of it centered around the recent Rocksmith x Wu-Tang Collection with a nice pair of denim thrown in the mix.  Check out below to see what Frank had to say about everything:

"This collection is just one of my absolute favorites.  Growing up listening to Wu-Tang, this collection captures that nostalgic feel that is hard to come by these days.  With the 36 Chambers Album cover tee you just can't go wrong with this classic piece.  Following up with the purple tape tee is my next personal favorite which is sure to break necks; so protect yours and go cop."

Frank dropped his 6 favorite Wu-Tang albums on us as well.  What's your favorite Wu-Tang album?

Shwood "Ashland" in East Indian Rosewood | Summer '11

April 13, 2011 12:11 by thealex

One of the best parts about being in the industry is being able to grow and develop the shop and Wish brand with like-minded creatives and brands.  Since working with Shwood Eyewear last summer on a custom make up of their Govy style, the Portland, Oregon, based brand has developed not only their aesthetics, but also their build quality.  Adding spring-loaded hinges to better fit your head, a premium drawstring pouch and three-ply stronger wood.

Their latest style is an aviator-inspired silhouette that pays homage to classic utilitarian design.  The Ashland comes in East Indian Rosewood and features premium Carl Zeiss premium mirrored lenses for a nice pop.  You can read more info about these dope lenses by click HERE.  You can pick the Ashland up from our online shop for a retail of $145.  You can also pick up a pair in-store at our Moreland Ave if you're local.  Follow the jump for more images!
